Someone entered a vehicle on Abby Knoll Drive between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Jan. 21. An iPod and its charger were taken.
Police charged James Dion Hollin, 29, of 311-214 Stoney Moss Drive, Raleigh, with motor vehicle theft and two counts of embezzlement at about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at Lake Wheeler Road and Tryon Road. The incident involving a stolen Nissan automobile and six boxes of steaks occurred between 5 p.m. Jan. 21 and 12:55 p.m. Jan. 22.
Five vehicles were entered in neighborhoods off of Olive Chapel Road between W. Williams Street and Kelly Road between 10 a.m. Jan. 23 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 25. Four GPS units, an iPod Nano and cash were taken.
A home was broken into on Reunion Arbor Lane between 5:20 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Jan. 27. The deadbolt lock was damaged, but nothing was taken.
Two unknown black males committed an armed robbery at Apex Food Mart at 321 S. Salem St. between 10:08 p.m. and 10:12 p.m. Jan. 27. A wallet, an unknown amount of cash, a debit card and a cell phone were taken.
An unknown black male committed an armed robbery at the Kangaroo gas station at 705 E. Williams St. between 12:40 a.m. and 12:47 a.m. Jan. 29. $84 cash was taken.
Apex police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: Patrick Joseph Fullem, 54, of 308 S. Walker St., Cary, charged about 2:25 a.m. Jan. 23 at U.S. 64 and Kelly Road.

Someone impersonated a resident of Fuquay Springs Avenue using their address and social security number to complete bank transactions. It was reported at about 11:59 a.m. Jan. 21.
A resident of Forrest Berry Drive was the victim of financial transaction card fraud between 9 a.m. Jan. 13 and 9 p.m. Jan. 22. Someone made $200 worth of fraudulent credit card transactions online.
Someone forcibly entered a building owned by the town of Fuquay-Varina at 207 Railroad St. by cutting fencing between 5 p.m. Jan. 22 and 8:27 a.m. Jan. 26. A cut off saw, generator and a hand tamp, with a total value of $6,460, were taken.
A resident of Arnold Lane reported being the victim of financial fraud at about 1:26 p.m. Jan. 26. Her bank account was used for fraudulent purposes.
Fuquay-Varina police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: Ashley Goode, 30, of 708 Morton Road, Holly Springs, charged about 7:38 a.m. Jan. 23 at Fuquay Shopping Center.
Someone attempted to break into a home on Arnold Lane by forcing open a side door and forcing open a window between 9:20 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. Jan. 18. Nothing was taken but there was $275 in damage to the home.
Fuquay-Varina police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: Shawn Thomas Rumberger, 38, of 123 Holly Ave., Dunn, charged about 10:41 p.m. Jan. 13 at 718 N. Main St.

Someone forcibly entered a building at the Devil's Ridge Golf Club through the front door between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 19 and 2:06 p.m. Jan. 20. Four cases of beer and a carton of cigarettes were taken.
A drive-by shooting occurred on Arbor Creek Drive between 12:35 p.m. and 12:39 p.m. Jan. 26. No one was injured.
Someone attempted to enter a home on Guerin Road through the front door between 8:40 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. Jan. 15. Nothing was taken.
A home on Hallwood Court was entered by kicking in the rear door between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 19. A camera and two laptop computers were taken.
Counterfeit $10 and $20 bills were passed at Walmart at 7016 G.B. Alford Highway at about 10:02 p.m. Dec. 28.
A Texas resident reported being the victim of identity theft after checking his credit report and discovering a Time Warner Cable collection based in Holly Springs. The report was filed with Holly Springs Police at about 9:17 p.m. Jan. 3.
Holly Springs police recently charged the following people with driving while impaired: Jon Timothy Heames, Jr., 45, of 231 Gary St., Raleigh, charged about 4 a.m. Jan. 1 at Sunset Lake Road and Lake Flower Drive; Alvaro Ruben Fuentes Aguiluz, 48, of 120 Sudano Court, charged about 12:50 a.m. Jan. 1 at Holly Meadow Drive and Southern Style Drive.
