Although "The Lightning Thief" doesn't hit movie theaters until Feb. 12, young fans of Percy Jackson and the Olympians can still have heroic fun at 2 p.m. Friday.
Borders, 1751 Walnut St., in Cary will host a release party gearing up for the long-awaited movie based on the supernatural series by Rick Riordan.
Fans ages 7 to 14 can participate in Olympian games, a demigod debate, Percy trivia and more.
Fans of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series of books can gather at Borders in Cary for a party celebrating 'The Lightning Thief' movie.
